DRURY WOMEN’S BASKETBALL CAMP

The off-season represents a crucial time in the development of basketball players of all ages and skill levels. Simply put, it’s often the time and hard work put in during the off-season that separates players down the line and takes their individual game to the next level.

We invite you to join us this off-season by participating in one or more of our summer camp offerings. Our camps enjoy an outstanding reputation for teaching the fundamentals of the game in an enthusiastic and high-energy setting. Unique to most summer camps, the Drury Women’s Basketball Camp is led by the Lady Panthers head coach, Steve Harold, and his assistants Shelly Jones, and John Nicolais.  All three coaches will be on the court, leading instruction every day. Assisting the main coaching staff will be the Lady Panther players and top high school and junior high coaches from throughout the region. Our athletes are positive role models and will be highly involved throughout the week.

There’s no better way for you as a player or parent to gain an insider’s look into our program than by attending any of our camp offerings.  Our philosophy is to teach the game from the ground-up.  This approach is used daily throughout the season in Lady Panther practices and is the same one we use in our camp settings.

The Lady Panther basketball program has enjoyed tremendous success in its brief eleven-year history.  Much of Drury’s past team success can be traced back to many days of hard work over the summers at an early age.  Enrolling in a Lady Panther basketball camp is a great place to start.

We hope your summer plans include attending one or more of our summer camp offerings at the new, air-conditioned O’Reilly Family Event Center on the Drury University campus.  We promise an educational, motivational, and enjoyable experience for all young girls looking to improve their game.
